David P. Mann is a member of the firm’s Business group and focuses his practice in real estate, construction, non-profit, public sector, and bankruptcy law. He has experience in a variety of business matters and in all aspects of real estate law, including acquisition, disposition, and financing. In addition, he has significant experience working with public sector entities, particularly in the local government context.
In addition to his work with the firm Of Counsel, David is the President and CEO of the Lucas County Land Bank, an innovative quasi-governmental entity whose mission is to strengthen neighborhoods and preserve property values by returning vacant, abandoned, and tax-delinquent property to productive use.
Prior to practicing law, David served in a number of leadership roles with the Board of Lucas County Commissioners. There, he worked on important local projects including the development and construction of the Huntington Center, Lucas County’s publicly owned arena facility.
David’s education in the humanities, his capable writing skills, and his deep community relationships help ensure his clients receive well-balanced representation.
