Marci Klumb is a member of the firm’s Business group and focuses on contract negotiation, banking and commercial finance transactions, and loan workouts.
In her business practice, Marci’s clients include closely held companies in the consulting, sales, and service sectors. Her focus is on her clients’ business operations and results, and her work includes structuring client proposals, contract negotiation, protecting and licensing intellectual property, advising on information and data security, and operations risk management.
In her financial services practice, Marci’s clients include community and regional banks, agricultural lenders, and commercial debt buyers. Marci’s representation of commercial lenders includes structuring, negotiating, and documenting asset-based secured transactions, equipment, and real estate and construction loans, and negotiating, collecting, and enforcing troubled loans through restructure, forbearance, workout, and receivership.
Marci practiced in-house with a regional bank holding company for many years and brings a practical approach to serving her clients. Instead of identifying obstacles, Marci partners with her clients to find solutions. Marci’s “true north” philosophy is that she is a member of her client’s team. As a team member, Marci’s objective is for her clients to win the business and manage the risk associated with the speed required to grow sales.
