Alan Dills has over 40 years’ experience as a trial attorney and is a member of the firm’s Litigation group. His focus is defense litigation for large insurance carriers when faced with first party or third party litigation in which the carriers, or those they insure, find themselves involved. This work involves tort liability as well as contractual liability, contractual interpretation, and coverage disputes between carriers and their insureds and third-party litigants.
Alan was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1973 and the Federal Courts in 1974 and has devoted his practice to insurance defense litigation matters involving general tort, coverage questions, uninsured/underinsured coverage and damage claims, commercial and general practice areas. He has successfully argued two cases before the Ohio Supreme Court and numerous cases before the Ohio Sixth District and the Ohio Third District Courts of Appeals.
