Brian Jun is an associate in the firm’s Business and the Trusts & Estates Law Group. He is working with our diverse clients on multiple issues, including business, compliance, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, immigration, probate, trust administration, and estate planning.
Prior to joining Marshall Melhorn, Brian worked as an associate counsel at a fast-growing franchise company in the U.S. His experience in finance and corporate business have aided him in developing a detail-oriented and thorough approach to case development. Using his experienced and detail-oriented methods, Brian provides his clients with the representation they need and deserve. Brian earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Seoul, South Korea and served in the South Korean Army, attaining the rank of Captain. Brian immigrated to the United States in 2012 and was strongly inspired to become an attorney. Brian would go on to attend and earn his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
While in law school, Brian served as a staff editor for A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society and worked as a research assistant for Professor Todd A. Starker, revising business accounting courses in an analysis of numerous corporate finance materials from Harvard Business School. Brian was a finalist in the 2017 Lawrence Negotiation Competition and has been recognized for his pro bono work by the Dean of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, the Supreme Court of Ohio, and the Ohio Access to Justice Foundation.
Brian is bilingual in English and Korean.
