Brian's journey to the legal profession is marked by perseverance and global experience. Originally from South Korea, he earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Seoul and served in the South Korean Army, attaining the rank of Captain. After immigrating to the United States in 2012, he was inspired to pursue a legal career and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
During law school, Brian distinguished himself as a staff editor for A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society and worked as a research assistant to Professor Todd A. Starker, analyzing corporate finance materials from Harvard Business School. He was a finalist in the 2017 Lawrence Negotiation Competition and was recognized for his pro bono work by the Dean of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, the Supreme Court of Ohio, and the Ohio Access to Justice Foundation.
