Eli Boldt began his legal career at Marshall Melhorn in the summer of 2019 as the firm’s law clerk gaining valuable experience in a wide range of legal issues. After successfully passing the Ohio Bar exam, Eli joined the firms Education and Business practice groups.
In his Education law practice, Eli assists boards of education on all matters including student discipline, policy review, public records, athletics, regulatory compliance, FERPA, special education law, and labor and employment issues.
As a member of the firm’s Business practice group Eli has been able to work with many dedicated professionals. He hopes to utilize his diverse legal background to help clients successfully navigate their day-to-day issues. Eli is excited about the prospect of working with new clients for many years to come and aims to provide individualized and goal-oriented attention to each matter.
Prior to joining the firm, Eli worked in many Toledo area courts, which allowed him to gain valuable knowledge in the Northwest Ohio legal system. While in law school, Eli served as the Student Bar Association President, Executive Editor of the University of Toledo Law Review, and was named valedictorian of this graduating class.
