Roman "Ray" Arce is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Law practice group. He has more than 25 years of experience in labor and employment law, including construction industry labor law, OSHA matters, and litigation in state and federal courts. Roman's experience includes litigating FMLA and employment discrimination cases, FLSA collective actions and Ohio Prevailing Wage Law and ERISA cases. Roman also represents employers in collective bargaining and in labor arbitrations proceedings. Roman also practices before the following agencies: the NLRB, the EEOC, the OCRC, the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, the U.S. Dept. of Labor, OFCCP and the wage and hour division, the Ohio State Employment Relations Board (SERB), the Ohio Industrial Commission, and the Ohio Unemployment Compensation Review Commission. Roman also conducts employment-related investigations and prepares post-investigation reports on behalf of private and public sector clients, including multiple employee fatality investigations over the past 25 years. Roman’s strength lies in his breadth of experience effectively handling a variety of labor and employment law matters. Most law firms would have to deploy attorneys from their litigation and their labor and employment law practice groups to do what Roman does.
