Our Insurance Recovery Practice Group represents policyholders in insurance coverage matters and disputes.
We counsel clients on risk assessment and insurance procurement, policy interpretation, and the obligations and rights of the insured when a claim arises. We also help policyholder clients enforce their rights. This array of services includes:

Advising clients on notice, cooperation and interactions with insurers in claim situations
Assisting clients in processing claims with insurers
Counseling clients when a reservation of rights letter has been issued
Counseling clients on risk assessment and the selection of coverages for their specific needs
Helping clients identify existing policies that may provide coverage for asserted claims
Representing clients in litigation to obtain coverage and payment of claims or when insurers file actions seeking a court determination and declaration of no coverage
