Amber is a new associate in the firm’s Business Law Group. She will be working with our business clients on issues involving commercial agreements and transactions, acquisitions, financing, compliance, real estate leases, and more. She also works with our trusts & estates, education, and litigation groups.
Prior to joining Marshall Melhorn, Amber worked as a law clerk for Lucas County Children Services and a mediator at Rogers High School. She volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) helping to advocate for abused and neglected children in the juvenile court system.
While attending law school, Amber received book awards for her trusts & estates and advanced legal research & writing classes and a Public Service Commendation. She was the Vice President of the Public Interest Law Association, Vice President of the Family and Juvenile Law Society, and a Student Bar Association Class Representative.
Amber was raised in Taylor, Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys attending sporting events, spending time with family, and reading. Before attending law school, Amber had a career with one of the nation’s largest electrical distributors where she helped develop talent and strategically grow the business in the Great Lakes area.
