Jackson D Murphree

Jackson D. Murphree began his legal career at Marshall Melhorn as a summer law clerk and returned as an associate after graduating from law school. Jackson is a new associate in the firm’s intellectual property group who assists clients in local and global IP matters. Jackson is currently working on becoming licensed to practice in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Before joining Marshall Melhorn, Jackson worked as an engineering intern at O-I Glass and Zimmer Biomet, as well as a law clerk at Kisling, Nestico, and Redick. In law school, Jackson was a published member of the University of Toledo Law Review and received book awards for his work in the civil advocacy clinic.

Born and raised in Rossford, Ohio, Jackson is excited to grow his practice and serve his local, national, and global community. In his free time, Jackson enjoys coaching, golfing, and spending time with friends.
